Dr. Mareike Kensy studied and graduated in Heidelberg and Mannheim. She trained to become an expert in skin and veneral diseases with Prof. Christian Sander at Eduard-Arning-Klinik für Dermatologie and Allergie in Hamburg and with Prof. Volker Steinkraus at the renowned Dermatologikum Hamburg.
In the vascular centre for the treatment of varicose vein disorders of Dermatologikum Hamburg she worked, together with Dr. Jens Alm, with the radiofrequency catheter Venefit® (VNUS ClosureFast®) for many years. Today Dr. Kensy is not only a recognized dermatologist and phlebologist but also a certified user of Venefit® as well as ELVeS Radial™ (laser vein therapy) with more than 1.000 successful operations. Before she opened a practice of her own in 2014 she worked as a specialist for dermatology and phlebology in a large dermatology practice in Munich.
Dr. med. Eva Bachmeier studied at Regensburg University. After receiving her doctor´s degree, she began her specialist medical training with Dr. Bachter at the Carl-Thiem Clinic in Cottbus. Then she came to Munich working initially as a colleague of Dr. Mareike Kensy. Later on, she was employed as a medical specialist for a renowned dermatologist in Regensburg.
During this time, she especially focused on surgical and aesthetic treatment of patients. In doing so, she worked with various laser techniques that are also important among the activities of “Dermatologie am Sendlinger Tor”. Other core areas of Dr. Eva Bachmeier are all domains of medical dermatology, the therapy of acne and rosacea as well as the treatment of chronic skin diseases such as neurodermatitis.
Dr. Barbara Wittmeier studied and graduated at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg. Then she was trained with Prof. Landthaler and Prof. Berneburg at Universitätsklinik (university hospital) Regensburg in order to become an expert in skin and veneral diseases. Most recently she was employed as a medical specialist at a large dermatology practice in Munich and gained recognition as an allergologist.
Her long experience at the university hospital as well as in the registered doctors' sector covered the entire range of traditional dermatology. Her particular areas of focus were allergology, laser medicine and operative dermatology.
Dr. Esther Wißmüller, was trained in her father's general medical practice to become a doctor's assistant, before she studied human medicine and did a doctorate at Göttingen university. At Alpenklinik Santa Maria in Oberjoch / Allgäu she specialized in atopic diseases of children and adolescents.
She completed her training as a specialist for skin- and veneral diseases at Dermatologikum Hamburg, where she belonged to the team of Prof. Volker Steinkraus. She worked intensively in the field of operative and aesthetic dermatology. She continued her studies at Würzburg university’s dermatologic department with Prof. Eva-Bettina Bröcker and in the department of vein and dermasurgery at Krankenhaus Tabea, Hamburg's largest special clinic for vein medicine. With more than 1.000 successful vein catheter operations she is a certified user of Venefit® as well as ELVeS Radial™.
After studying and graduating at Regensburg University, Dr. Kerstin Meyer was employed in the department of internal medicine for one and a half years. Then she started her specialist training with Prof. Bröcker at Würzburg University Hospital and continued with Prof. Landthaler at Regensburg University, where she also received her qualification as an allergologist.
As a medical specialist and qualified management representative of the Clinic for Dermatology and of theinterdisciplinary skin tumour centre Eastern Bavaria led by Prof. Berneburg Dr. Kerstin Meyer also worked at the university hospital where she - in addition to general dermatology - deepened her knowledge of laser therapy, allergology and surgical dermatology.
Dr. Christina Auer studied human medicine at the Free University of Berlin, at the Medical University of Vienna and at the Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich. Within the scope of a doctoral programme of Medical Science she completed her doctorate in the research programme "Mental Health and Behaviour Medicine" at the Medical University of Vienna where she also graduated as a "Dr. scient. med.".
She began her training as a specialist for skin and venereal diseases with Prof. Dr. Michael Landthaler at the Clinical Centre of Regensburg University which she continued at the Dermatological Clinic of University Hospital Zurich and its affiliated "Centre of Clinical Research".
Then she worked with Prof. Wilhelm Stolz at the Clinic for Dermatology of Schwabing Hospital where she, in the meantime, received her qualification as a medical specialist.
Her years of work in hospitals and in the registered doctors' sector enabled her to gain experience in general and surgical dermatology as well as in laser therapy, photo-dermatology and allergology.
